A helicopter crash in Afghanistan
I just saw on the internet news that there has been a Chinook crash in Afghanistan. I am pretty much sure that it is from my boyfriend's unit. There are no survivors. I can't even begin to express my worries right now.

Try not to worry... You and those soldiers and their families are in our prayers.
My thoughts are with you, and I'm thinking good thoughts for your boyfriend.
I dunno what to say except, stay strong and try not to worry. My thoughts are with you and your boyfriend....
My hugs and prayers are with you. Please let us know what is happening.
It's hard to comment on this... if I say I hope it's not your boyfriend, I'm saying I hope it's one of his buddies. Not a sentiment your boyfriend would care for, I imagine.
I'll just pray that God give you and the other family and friends effected the strength to handle this.
My heart is with you.
You are in my thoughts and prayers today, dear.

Cali,
I understand what you are going through. I am in BIG WINDY. I know every crew chief and flight engineer on the chinooks. I was a crew chief. I cannot tell you how terrible it is to hear of a chinook crash and not know if your friends were on it. We shall all know in a few days, I guess. Good luck though.
